Hantorie™1.1 now supports online communication in KS code. It can display KS code on most telecommunication programs, but it doesn't support input of KS code yet. For more details, refer to the manual.
Demo Difference with the Full Version
===================================
Instructions on how to purchase the full version are included in the "Order Form & Prices". This Hantorie™1.1 Demo has the identical features of the full version, but doesn't have outline Han fonts and Toctac1.3. The demo version has also a dialog box showing at startup.
In the full package, Toctac1.3 (a Hangul code converter), six different bitmapped, TrueType, and type 1 PostScript fonts are included in addition to the files in the Demo version. More TerminalHan bitmapped fonts(9,10,18, and 24 points) are also included making browsing easier on the telecommunication software.

About Han Korean Kit
===================
This language kit provides you with everything you need to use Korean on your Macintosh. Simply pull down the keyboards menu, choose your favorate keyboard, and begin typing with Han fonts.
Hantorie™ is a control panel which supports KongHan and KSHan keyboards. With Hantorie™, a Han font, and your favorate keyboard, Hangul(Korean) inline input is enabled for virtually every software. In this demo version, four bitmapped fonts (two for KeyCaps, and two for the real purpose), two keyboard files, and Hantorie™1.1 Demo version are included.
This Han Korean Kit lets you run both Korean (Wansung and Han) and English applications and add Korean text to all your documents. Create, edit, run and print documents in Korean or English using Han TrueType and PostScript fonts(supplied in full version). The user can also work with Wansung code files created in HangulTalk, the Korean version of the Macintosh operating system. Because Hantorie™1.1 was created as a control panel of System 7.0 or later, there's no need to burden your hard drive with an additional operating system like HangulTalk. The kit can be installed in minutes and includes bilingual documentation, making it easy to use whether you are a native speaker or just learning the language.
Han Korean Kit also has the capability of representing all possible combinations (11,172 syllables) of Hangul characters because it uses one-byte character-encoding scheme. HangulTalk has the critical limitation (only 2,350 available out of 11,172 syllables) of representing all possible syllables in Hangul.
However, Han Korean Kit can be used for only Hangul, not Hanja (Korean version of Chinese). This may be a drawback of Han Korean Kit, but the trend in South Korea shows the decreasing use of Hanja in normal use. Currently, North Korea very rarely uses Hanja; therefore its Hangul culture is greatly prosperous. With Han Korean Kit, it is still necessary to use WorldScript™II or HangulTalk for those who need Hanja on the Macintosh computer. Han Korean Kit can be installed and used with WorldScript™II, or HangulTalk, with very little compatibility problems.

System Requirement
====================
Hantorie™ can be installed on any systems of version 7.0. Hantorie™, six fonts, keyboard files take about 200K system memory and about 500 K hard disk space. Compare this with HangulTalk which takes a few megabyte memory and tens of megabyte hard disk space.
How to Install
===============
(1) Open 'to System Folder' in 'Han Korean Kit Demo' Folder.
(2) Drag your favorate keyboard file in 'Keyboard Layout Files' folder onto system file in the System Folder.
(3) Drag Hantorie™1.1 Demo onto the Control Panel Folder.
(4) Drag all the fonts in 'Han Fonts' folder onto the Fonts Folder.
(5) Reboot your Macintosh.
Instead of (1)-(4), the user can directly drag all the files onto the System Folder, and then the Finder will take care of the installation. For further information, refer to the HKK Manual.
